105 Freeway Harming South LA Communities

Arnie Corlin

As many of you know, I have been preaching about how the proposed 105 Fastrack lanes are another “advancement” of the 105 freeway created to separate the South LA area from other communities when it comes to jobs, housing and economic opportunity.  For those who are interested, I have created a Powerpoint presentation to show how Metro, Caltrans are preparing to bypass the South LA community once again.

In the LA Times Opinion section (June 24, 2020) was a story about the Los Angeles freeways and the history of how it has divided communities.
