Post-Corona, Thinking – Why Not Work From Home?

by: Veronica

One of the unexpected benefits of the self-quarantine that has been a part of our COVID-19 experience is that the Entrepreneurial Spirit is renewed. Don’t you feel it?

  • The desire to create something, help somebody or try something new.
  • The drive to earn new money.
  • Craving the company of others.
  • Testing yourself to reach another goal.
  • Earning new money.

Whatever drives your entrepreneurial spirit, you probably have had lots of new ideas going through your mind during this stay-at-home time.

As entrepreneurs, we have many start dates. But you really don’t start a business until you have in place a Marketing Strategy Plan ready for implementation. So I will say that I’ve started my business on January 1, 2020 before the Travel Ban hit. But the Networking side of my God-given Vision to assist in the Rebuilding of our Black Community by using the Travel Industry as the monetary means along with the Travel product has been with me since August 1996. But the year 2020 is the timetable for implementation even during COVID, as I use my new-found knowledge of Digital Marketing

When I first chose my business, I did a lot of research. I knew I wanted to work from home, and I wanted a business in something that I really enjoy. I was approached by someone who introduced me to an opportunity, and I was really skeptical. I thought she was introducing me to some kind of scheme until she explained to me and showed me the value of marketing a product I am passionate about to a network of people.

Maybe you are thinking about adding a new stream of income to your life, or even transitioning to a full-time entrepreneur. I want to share with you the information I uncovered when I was making the decision to work from home. I had to learn more about direct selling and multi-level marketing and what to look for when I was deciding on a company.

If you are considering becoming an entrepreneur, especially as an independent representative, here is information that you need to know.

DIRECT SELLING is a blanket term comprised of a variety of different businesses that conduct person-to-person sales in retail stores, homes and social media platforms.

MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING (MLM) is one form of direct selling. It focuses on building a network of business partners who function as independent contractors and earn income by creating their own economy and leveraging their expenses.

Many Entrepreneurs choose to work with direct selling Companies because it eliminates the middle-man, offers the lowest amount of risk and the highest income potential. The chart below will help you examine elements of any company you are considering.

FACTS and OTHER Considerations
