1. Going to Europe? Tips on eating
In Europe, the people enjoy the arts, foreign languages and entertainment as much as they enjoy food. Europe has lots of local hidden small and cozy little restaurants and farmer’s markets. Below are a few Travel Tips when traveling through Europe.
Research before you travel
Ask your Surge365 Concierge or your upline Surge365 Travel Agent to help you Scout out online some authentic places to eat so you can experience the real cuisine like the locals. Discover and keep a list of the type of restaurant you want to explore that will go with the type of cultural local dish you are looking for. Remember, most of these types of unique places to eat may not be found on the main tourist streets.
To Tip or not to Tip
Don’t worry, Europe is not like America by which BIG Tips are given. The tipping range is the usual 15%-20%. Europeans prefer not to leave big tips. If you do leave a tip, do so with euros.
Farmers’ Markets
Europe has a culture of Farmers’ markets like America where you can buy healthy and nutritious food at a good bargain while at the same time have a marvelous cultural experience. Every day of the week you can find a Farmers’ Market somewhere in almost every city!
You can Drink in Public
You can drink in public places like the park and other spaces that are outdoors, but please, Americans, do not get drunk just because Europe’s laws are a little bit more lax.
