Why???

As an entrepreneur, we often ask the question, “why” did I make that decision?      

“Why” can represent anything to an entrepreneur,  who is contemplating their next approach, steps, and decisions?   “Why” will have you reflect on your past choices where you would give more thoughtfully consideration in your decision making.  How often do we ask ourselves why, as an entrepreneur?

As an entrepreneur, I had to ask myself that same question “why” I want to join this organization  After careful consideration and to attend several breakfast networking events of the Los Angeles South Chamber of Commerce.  I knew this was the Chamber for me. 

The Los Angeles South Chamber of Commerce is a special group that genuinely believes in the community.  I always was taught to read the mission and goal statements. The reason I read the information because I want to know more about the organization and its vision. Second, do the organization align themselves with their mission and goals? Third, I discover the Chamber adheres and embrace its vision. Not to mention the outstanding leadership that is provided by Dexter McLeod, Executive Director/Business Advisor, and Executive Board Members who affirm the vision for our community and the Chamber. 

Our Chamber adheres to the following business principal in their mission statement:

• Our mission is to create and sustain economic growth in South L.A. communities through business development, entrepreneurship, advocacy, and financial education.

I have witness the Los Angeles South Chamber of Commerce creating and sustaining business development by providing training classes during COVID- 19 Pandemic. Not to mention the various updates for small business owners on how to apply and secure the various loans for business owners.  To serving meals to the Seniors in community to our daily networking meetings by teleconference calls. The Chamber has demonstrated that are organization that any one would want to be associated with.
