Women’s History Month

I used to think I had no value, no self-worth, no appeal. Denying my identity, I was broken, fragmented, unable to heal, programed to look like somebody else, be like somebody else. My uniqueness denied, hidden out of sight, trapped, life half- lived!

Emergence

When I got older, it was God who whispered a voice from within. Telling me to embrace my difference, to let my true self breathe, to shed the mask, break the mold, and let my light shine in the truth of who I Am. And as I started to let go, my spirit began to soar. I discovered strength within me that I never knew before.

My uniqueness became my greatest asset, my uniqueness, my power, my essence, my magnet. I realize I am a rare gem, one-of-a-kind, no longer fragmented, no longer con-fined. My identity my own, my spirit free, my value my self-worth, now crystal clear to me so I stand tall in my own skin and bracing my uniqueness my essence my win.

I used to think I had no value, no self-worth, no appeal. Denying my identity, I was broken, fragmented, unable to heal, programed to look like somebody else, be like somebody else. My uniqueness denied, hidden out of sight, trapped, life half- lived!

No longer programed, no longer denied, I am me one-of-a-kind, and my light will forever abide!
