Happy 2021! Welcome to my first blog post of the year! As we excitedly focus on goal setting and outlining a direction for 2021, let’s not forget the strategy behind the strategy.  What is the plan for consistently giving your attention and quality energy to push your business plan forward.

We all have busy schedules and trust me, it will take more than having good intentions, a new calendar, and a whiteboard with color markers!  It’s going to take a strategy that literally taps into the core of who we are.  Ponder this…..

What will be my driving force?
How will I sustain my momentum?

During my work with clients, I’ve noticed that as we brainstorm strategies, a lot of emphasis is placed on the external changes that they feel are necessary to accomplish a goal.

Here’s a secret of most successful entrepreneurs, they understand that the most powerful and transformative outcomes are the result of changes and adjustments that comes from within…Why?  Because…

What is a master key?  Well first, let’s consider a “regular” key versus a “master” key.  A regular key is limited, it only has the ability to unlock a specific lock.  No matter how you try to force it into other locks, it is only able to open one particular lock. 

Now, on the other hand, a Master Key is much more powerful than a regular key.   It starts out as a regular key with the same capabilities as a regular key.  But then something happens….A Master Key is Programmed
Once a regular key is programmed, it now possess the ability to unlock many locks.  It is not limited to one lock.  It has the capacity to open locks it was previously unable to unlock…before it was programmed.

You Are The Master Key
I am encouraging everyone to focus on internal programming.  We all have the potential to reach new targets, expand into new ventures, and create fantastic new norms that serves us better than ever….but we must update our programming.   We can no longer rely on limited programming, if we want to thrive and reach new limits.  No!  We must upgrade our internal programming to reach new levels of productivity, discipline, and structure.   We must have a willingness and commitment to strengthen our mindset, increase our courage, and hold fast to the inner knowing that you have everything you need inside of you to move forward like never before.
