“Never underestimate the power of a planted seed.” – Author Chris Blanks.

Jesus took the bread, blessed it first, and then broke it. ~ Matthew 26:26

The fear of isolation is often seen as a punishment. Many people think one of two options: isolation will break us or bless us. I discovered it does both. For me, isolation was an opportunity for one on one time with God.  A God ordained isolated season produces elevation.  So, what does isolation have to do with the breaking of a seed? First, let’s understand the development phase of planting a seed.

The development phase of “the breaking of seeding”:

Three basic necessities for growth:

  1. Water
  2. Oxygen
  3. Proper temperature

Seeds are planted in the ground, while in the ground, water reaches the embryo of the seed causing it to swell. The seed then bursts through the seed coat, releasing the product inside. Once the stem is formed, sunlight causes it to grow until it breaks groundA large portion of growth took place in the dark a.k.a. the dirt.

Breaking the seed releases the anointing. Blessed are those who endure the crushing! Hallelujah!

What happened in the development phase?

To begin the process of growth a seed must become broken. The water flows to the embryo giving it the energy needed for cellular respiration. What is an embryo? An Embryo is an unborn or unhatched offspring in the process of development. This is a process that gives seeding energy until it can emerge from the soil and get sunlight. Think about the process of birthing. Growth begins in darkness. Darkness is often seen as a scary, unfamiliar place. God places light in dark places, not to bring shame on us, but to bring conviction. In the darkness is where pressure on the seed is done.

Pressure is a key ingredient in “the breaking of a seed.” Without pressure you CAN NOT birth the fruit inside the seed.

2 Corinthians 4:8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9. persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. The breaking of seed is to produce a character more like Christ. Although we become broken, we are not broke!

Stages to Propel Your Business to Next Level:

  1. Proper nourishment. A healthy business is a wealthy business. (Your health is connected to your wealth. Guard it well!) Nourishment provides food needed to produce energy. Marketing plans, business consultants, and the right advertisement is food needed to sustain growth in your business. Without proper nourishment your business will become dormant and eventually die.
  2. Establish your business on a firm foundation. You can’t skip establishing healthy roots in a firm foundation, then jump directly into an abundant harvest. Expecting to leap over sweat equity created from the small business development phase is an unhealthy expectation.
  3. Pray.  Prayer is needed for a seed to reach maturity. Prayer transitions a planted seed from spirit realm to natural. Prayer pushes a hidden seed to manifestation. Roots and sprouts all take place in the dirt. The stem begins to bud and the light of the sun nourishes the progress of its life. Maturity is the visible manifestation of what was created by the unseen eye. Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Conclusion

Would you believe me if I told you to become whole, you must first become broken? Being broken is a level of maturity many people run from, it’s a state of vulnerability. When I am weak, I am strong because of my exchange with Christ. The only way to receive fruit from a tiny seed is it must first become broken. Growing is uncomfortable, but it’s necessary to produce advancement. In closing, I speak life! I command the healthy seeds planted in you to produce life and to spring forth, now! Starve distractions from attempting to disrupt the atmosphere needed for growth, prune unproductivity, and stand firm (in the Word of God).
